What acne products worked best for you?

I have really dry skin, and pimples on my chin, nose, and upper cheeks. I don’t know what product to use; there are so many out there.
I’ve used Proactiv for a while, but once I stopped, I started breaking out again! I have tried Dr. Perricone Acne Treatment Cream, and that didn’t work at all.
What did you use, how long did it take, and did your skin stay clear?

Accutane, one month, no problems since!
absorbine jr (available at your larger pharmacies after I wash my face with soap and water. the zits are almost completely gone the next am if I use this 3-4 times day and just before going to bed
clinique acne solutions works great for me! except i only use the moisturizer at night and during the day i use my own. because of exposure to the sun.
I would see your dermatologist and he should prescribe you some pills and cream.
I don’t think telling you what I used will help you because we probably have different skin types.
I will tell you though,that I tried to use the stuff you see on commercials and everything but my skin didn’t really start clearing up until I went to my dermatologist and he hooked me up.
He’ll explain to you why topical treatments alone won’t do the job….usually.
If you use proactive once you have cleared up you should use just the Revitalizing Toner and sometimes the Repairing Lotion. If you have acne now you should use all three of the products.
Proactive is definatly the BEST!!
rather then using products like clearasil and pro-active solution which contain benzoyl peroxide which dries out your skin you should try using only a oil free moisturiser. It sounds like because your skin is so dry the oil is being clogged inside the pores, with a little bit of moisturiser your skin may clear up.
Man up and pop them till they’re gone…
Hi well i have been using Clear Now and the results are amazing!
I think you should give it a try ,and if it didnt work or you dont like it simply return it,and they will send you all your money back,have absolutely nothing to lose!
